  • What is Ensemble? What is it for?

    Ensemble is a prescription digital therapeutic, or simply put, an app that contains treatment-focused content that is backed by science. Ensemble is intended to complement your current treatment plan by providing activities that you can complete on your own time. These activities help you build new coping skills, or fine tune existing ones. It can also help you create a day-to-day mental health routine that is meaningful and useful.
  • Who should use Ensemble?

    You should use Ensemble if you:
    • Are willing to participate in a research study
    • Are 22 or older and diagnosed by a licensed healthcare provider with mild, moderate or severe MDD and/or GAD
    • Are able to read and understand English.
    • Have regular access to a smart device (iOS/Android Phone, Tablet or computer).
    • Are familiar with how to use mobile apps.
    • Have reliable internet connectivity
    • Are under the supervision of a healthcare provider
  • Whom is Ensemble NOT for?

    You should not use Ensemble if you:
    • Are under the age of 22
    • Have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, psychotic disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anorexia nervosa, borderline personality disorder, traumatic brain injury, and/or dementia or other neurocognitive disorder
  • How do I get it?

    Ensemble is currently available on a limited basis during an investigational study. Click here to see if you’re eligible.
  • What’s the cost?

    Ensemble will be provided at no cost to you during the study. You can withdraw from the study at any time without penalty.
  • Is it supported by science?

    Yes! Ensemble delivers skills training grounded in CBT, mindfulness and positive psychology. Learn more about the science behind Ensemble.
  • What’s the time commitment?

    During the study you will complete two short, engaging activities for a total of 15-30 minutes per day. Ensemble is accessible anytime, anywhere.
  • What happens if I miss a few days?

    No worries. We've designed a flexible program that lets you catch up if you fall behind.
  • Indications for Use

    Ensemble is a digital therapy designed to treat Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) or Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). It was built to work in concert with your patients' existing treatment plan so they can stay on medication and continue to receive their current therapy. This investigational medical device is grounded in CBT, mindfulness and positive psychology to ensure your patients get flexible and engaging interventions. Through daily science-based activities, your patients will learn to shift negative thoughts and build coping skills to manage their MDD or GAD.
  • Can Ensemble be prescribed for all of my patients with MDD or GAD?

    Currently, Ensemble is only being offered to participants 22 years or older who are diagnosed with MDD or GAD as part of an investigational study.
  • Does Ensemble replace participants’ medication or therapy?

    No, Ensemble was designed to work in concert with their existing treatment plans. Participants will continue on with their current treatment.
  • What if the participant discusses harming themselves while using Ensemble?

    If this happens, the participant will be connected to resources to assist immediately and you’ll be notified as well.
  • How can I check in on participants’ progress while they’re using Ensemble?

    Ensemble has a built-in physician dashboard so you can regularly monitor their adherence to treatment and progress.
  • How are improvements measured?

    Participants’ mental health improvements and outcomes are measured using clinically validated instruments (eg., PHQ-9 and GAD-7).
  • How long does treatment with Ensemble last?

    Treatment with Ensemble lasts 10 weeks, with assessments and adjustments occurring biweekly.
